The Food & Beverage branch has been changing quite a lot in the past 10 years; this because of the different sociological and anthropological ways of approaching life. The technological and digital progress of the western countries culture radically influences behaviours. WIKI FOOD DESIGN wants to show Macef visitors how design principles and approaches can be applied to food usability nowadays and in the future. Instruments, interfaces and the food itself: everything is being considered by Food Design. In WIKI FOOD DESIGN, by Paolo Barichella and Food Design Studio with the partnership of ADI Food Design Committee, you will find: Food Design 2.0, the latest open source design possibilities applied to Food Design; Cocotte Minute, an exhibition stressing how the steam digester has been evolving thanks to the new available heat transmitting instruments; Food Design Show Room, a selection of design products in which it’s the design process to make the difference. Round tables will be held in the Kitchen area equipped with the latest Gaggenau instruments. Oncoming possibilities of better food usability will show food courses designed in function of the newest cooking technologies. Live design, Chefs and designer for presentations and practical demonstrations of what Food Design is and of what you can do in your own kitchen at home.
